TESTFABRIC DOCS

Getting Started with TestFabric

Learn how to use TestFabric to generate useful testing assets from clear, guided inputs.

What is TestFabric?

TestFabric is a testing productivity suite from QUAGIX that helps teams create useful testing assets faster. It supports workflows such as browser automation script generation, structured test case creation, API validation assets, and load testing plan generation.

TestFabric is designed for QA engineers, developers, founders, and technical teams who want to reduce repetitive testing setup work while still reviewing and controlling the final output.

What you can do with TestFabric

Automata

Generate browser automation scripts from reviewed and approved user steps. Best for UI workflows, regression journeys, smoke tests, and repetitive browser flows.

TestComposer

Generate structured test cases from requirements, feature descriptions, or acceptance criteria. Best for QA planning, coverage expansion, and test design consistency.

Validox

Validate API requests, inspect responses, and create API testing assets. Best for API behavior checks, response validation, and reusable API test preparation.

LoadVertex

Generate load testing plans and JMeter-compatible artifacts. Best for preparing performance test inputs, load profiles, and downloadable test plan bundles.

Basic workflow

  1. Choose the TestFabric product that matches your goal.
  2. Enter clear input such as a test scenario, requirement, API request, or load profile.
  3. Review any generated steps, assumptions, or outputs shown by the product.
  4. Generate the final artifact where applicable.
  5. Review the generated output before using it in a project or pipeline.
  6. Download the artifact or return to history when you need previous outputs.

Good input creates better output

The quality of the generated output depends heavily on the clarity of your input. Keep your instructions specific, focused, and tied to the outcome you expect.

Weak input

Test login.

Better input

Open the login page, enter valid credentials, click Sign In, and verify that the dashboard appears with a welcome message.

A good input should describe the action, the data or condition, and the expected result. For larger workflows, break the scenario into smaller, clearer parts.

Review before production use

Generated scripts, test cases, API assets, and load testing plans should be reviewed before they are used in production, CI/CD, customer-facing environments, or high-impact systems. TestFabric accelerates testing work, but users remain responsible for validation, authorization, and final usage.

Use only on authorized systems

Use TestFabric only with websites, APIs, applications, and environments that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Do not use generated outputs for scraping, credential attacks, abusive automation, unauthorized API probing, or load testing third-party systems without permission.
